This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Paharpur P.S. Case No.156 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under sections 64, 352, 351(3) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and under section 4 of the POCSO Act. 3.

The petitioner is accused of committing rape with a minor girl. He is in custody since 30.03.2025. 4.

Learned counsel for the informant submits that the trial has started and in the trial the informant and the victim have already been examined and they have supported the prosecution case.

Considering the aforesaid facts and also the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of X vs. State of Rajasthan and Anr. reported in 2024 SCC OnLine SC 3539, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
