The petitioner seeks bail in G.R.P. Bakhtiyarpur (Barh) P.S. Case No. 144 of 2016 under Section 30(a) of Bihar Excise Act, 2016.
About 6.75 litres of Indian made foreign liquor in nine bottles, each containing 750 ML was recovered from possession of the petitioner, for that the petitioner is in jail custody since 29.12.2016.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the facts that small quantity of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner for that he has already remained in jail for three and half months, the above named petitioner is directed
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14836 of 2017 (2) dt.18-04-2017 2/2 to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Railway, Patna in connection with G.R.P. (Barh) P.s. Case No. 144 of 2016, G.R. No. 797 of 2016.
