JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 06-11-2023 The present writ application has been filed seeking direction to the official respondents i.e. respondent nos. 2 to 6 for fair investigation of Patori P.S. Case No. 50 of 2023 arising out of Complaint Case No. 2137 of 2022 registered under Sections 376, 417, 420, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the local police officials are trying to shield the respondent no. 7 on the basis that the case has been finished in Rs. 25,000/- as such

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1131 of 2023(2) dt.06-11-2023 2/2 she submitted an application on 17.03.2023 to the respondent no.4 requesting for a fair investigation of the case. It is stated that despite her best efforts, the official respondents are sitting over the matter purposefully.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Samastipur (respondent no.4) to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate steps to complete proper and fair investigation of Patori P.S. Case No. 50 of 2023.
