The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No.107 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding theft being committed in the house of the Presiding Officer (Vth Additional District & Sessions Judge, Darbhanga).

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a bare perusal of the case diary would show that the petitioner has been implicated in the present case merely on suspicious and no recovery has been made from the petitioner. It is further submitted that petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 14.03.2018.
