The Petitioner seeks bail in Chakia P.S. Case No. 300 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 272, 273, 290 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that eight litres of country made liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It has been submitted that petitioner is in custody since 19.11.2016.

It has been mentioned in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Keeping in view the period spent by the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8092 of 2017 (2) dt.07-03-2017 2/2 petitioner in custody and petitioner having fair antecedent, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 13th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 300 of 2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner. (Sanjay Priya, J) Shageer/- U T
