Petitioner is accused in connection with Bettiah (M) P.S. Case No. 417 of 2016 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120B, 409, 467, 468, 471, 411, 182, 211 of the I.P.C. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in this case due to political rivalry on the confessional statement of co-accused. Nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession. Petitioner is an Ex-Mukhiya and is rotting in jail since 18.10.2016.
