2. The petitioner, who is in custody since 29.06.2016, has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 169 of 2016 having twice been rejected by orders dated 22.02.2017 and 20.09.2017 in Cr. Misc. No. 5514 of 2017 and Cr. Misc. No. 44759 of 2017, respectively.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated merely because he happens to be the husband of the deceased. A perusal of the first information report discloses that no specific accusations have been made against the petitioner which are all general and omnibus in nature. It is submitted that the petitioner has already suffered about two years in custody.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court sees no reason to take a different view in the matter. The bail petition stands dismissed.
