The petitioners seek bail in Excise Complaint Case No.74 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

On 10.09.2020, the complainant on secret information intercepted a Bolero pick up van bearing registration No.BR069C-6409 and on search, 875.880 litres of liquor was recovered. The petitioners are the driver and the co-driver of the pick up van.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in jail since 10.09.2020. Petitioners have remained in jail for more than six months for the recovery of

Taking into consideration the fact that for the recovery of 875 litres of liquor the petitioners have remained in jail for more than six months, let the petitioners, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II, Banka in connection with Excise Complaint Case No.74 of 2020.
