The petitioner seeks bail in Siwan Town P.S. Case No. 55 of 2012 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is alleged to have got appointment on the basis of forged appointment letter in the District of Siwan on the post of Village Extension Worker in the department of Agriculture. On enquiry, it is transpired that the transfer order was also forged.
It is submitted that similarly situated co-accused, namely, Braj Bhushan Prasad has been granted anticipatory bail, but it appears that the aforesaid petitioner got appointment on the basis of forged appointment letter. For that the petitioner is in jail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14112 of 2017 (2) dt.13-04-2017 2/2 since 29.11.2016 and he has remained in jail for more than 41⁄2 months.
Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No. 55 of 2012.
