The petitioner seeks bail in Phulpras P.S. Case No. 231 of 2016 registered under Sections 420 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner, being the PACCS Chairman of Brahampur Bathanaha Panchayat purchased 1200 quintals of paddy after taking money from the Co-operative Bank. The petitioner had to deliver 804 quintals of C.M.R to the B.S.F.C. but the petitioner delivered only 237.52 quintals of C.M.R. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a Certificate Case has already been initiated. The petitioner is ready to return the amount in installments. The petitioner is in jail since 04.11.2016. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than two months. Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named
