The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jokihat P.S. Case No.17 of 2016 registered under Sections 341, 324, 307 and 354B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner has assaulted with knife to the daughter-in-law and son of the informant, who sustained two injuries each, I am not inclined to grant him bail for the present.

Accordingly, the application for grant of bail to the petitioner is rejected.

In case, the trial is not concluded within six months from the date of framing of charges, the petitioner would be at liberty to
