The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhargama P.S. Case No. 25 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b), 26 of the Arms Act.

Allegation is that the informant, who was on patrolling duty on the eve of Araria Lok Sabha election, had got information that the accused Manoj Mehta was manufacturing illegal arms. Thereafter, the premise of the said Manoj Mehta was raided and several materials used for manufacturing arms were recovered.

It is stated that on the basis of the confessional statement of the said Manoj Mehta, the petitioner was arrested

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28264 of 2018 (3) dt.21-05-2018 2/2 since he is said to have been the customer of the said accused Manoj Mehta, however, nothing was recovered from his possession. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been falsely roped in the present case, he is having a clean antecedent and is in custody since 11.2.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Araria in connection with Bhargama P.S.
