The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jehanabad Mahila P.S. Case No. 09 of 2015 for the offences punishable under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding the wife of the petitioner herein being done to death by the accused persons on account of non fulfillment of demand of dowry.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case diary would bear it out that the victim lady has committed suicide and in fact the door was closed from inside, where from the dead body was found, and when the same was opened by the police, it was found that the victim lady has committed suicide. It is further submitted that the marriage had taken place six years

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27258 of 2018 (5) dt.09-07-2018 2/2 back and there is no demand of dowry during the interregnum period. The petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 31.01.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad Mahila P.S. Case No. 09 of 2015.
