JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-01-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). To adjudge, hold and declare that the action of the respondent authorities in republishing the results dated 02.06.2021 and omitting the name of the petitioner whose name was originally published in the results dated 21.05.2021 for appointment on the post of part-time sweeper (PTS) in Rohtas District under Arrah Circle (Now under Aurangabad Circle) of Punjab National Bank against advertisement dated 08.09.2017 is malafide, arbitrary, discriminatory and erroneous in nature.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15591 of 2021(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/2 (ii). Be further pleased to direct the concerned respondent authorities to appoint the petitioner on the post of part-time sweeper (PTS) in Rohtas District under Arrah Circle (Now under Aurangabad Circle) of Punjab National Bank as per the results published on 21.05.2021."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
