This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Motihari Town P.S.Case No.598 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is named in the F.I.R. It appears that his name has transpired during the course of investigation of the case. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that on the basis of confessional statement in other cases, wherein some materials have been recovered, the petitioner has been remanded in the present case. It is further submitted that so far criminal antecedent of the petitioner is concerned, three cases prior to the year, 2013 and two cases prior to 2015 have been registered against him. He is in custody for about eight months.

No.19988 of 2017 (2) dt.05-05-2017 2/2 Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail Having heard both sides and in view of allegation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of six months and if not concluded, the petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
