2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 14 of 2018 for the offence registered under sections 420/120(b)/417/468/465/403/406/34 of the IPC lodged on 09.01.2018.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that in the garb of providing employment, the accused took up Rs. 3,90,000/- and later they were also thrashed. This led to the FIR.

4. Though learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the main accused is Sabir Ansari who has been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench on 21.01.2019 in Cr. Misc. No. 51172

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38342 of 2025(2) dt.25-06-2025 2/2 of 2018, learned counsel representing the State, Mr. Bharat Bhushan submits that the allegation is of the year 2016-17, FIR lodged in the year 2018 and seven years later, the petitioner has chosen to move before this Court.

5. Considering the submissions of the parties and the delay in approaching the Court, it would be appropriate that the petitioner seek bail.

6. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

7. If, however, the petitioner approaches the Court in next four weeks and surrenders, the Court concerned shall take up the bail application and dispose it of preferably on the same day.
