2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Matihani P.S. Case No. 47 of 2025, registered for offence punishable under Sections 140(3) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per F.I.R., on 10.03.2025 at 5 AM, son of informant had gone to unload rice, but did not return and his phone was out of coverage area, however at 11 AM, one person received the call of informant and demanded two lakhs rupees in lieu of release of his son.

4. Petitioner's name surfaced for the first time in the statement of victim recorded under Section 183 of B.N.S.S. wherein the victim stated that petitioner and others were involved in his kidnapping and they had demanded a ransom of Rs. 2,00,000/- from his father (informant). The informant, in his re-statement, has supported the prosecution case.

5. Considering the nature of accusation and statement of the victim under Section 183 B.N.S.S., the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
