The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Sections 379, 461 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant made allegation that the petitioner committed theft of his laptop after breaking open the lock but it appears that the informant is not an eye witness of the occurrence. Except suspicion, the police have not collected any tangible material. The petitioner is a student.
