Petitioner is an accused in a case registered for offence under sections 304B, 201/34 IPPC. Petitioner is husband of the victim and the marriage took place in July 2016 and death occurred just after a year later on 29.8.2017. The victim died of burn injury at her matrimonial house.

Learned counsel for the informant submits that due to obstruction caused by the family of the petitioner there was delay in lodging of the FIR.

Considering the gravity of the allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
