The petitioner seeks bail in connection with G.O. (Excise) Case No. 274 of 2017, registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is that petitioner was sitting on two plastic bags in suspicious condition. On search of said plastic bags, 44 bottles, each containing 750 ML India made foreign liquor recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent is in custody since 12.03.2017.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20093 of 2017 (2) dt.11-05-2017 2/2 the case, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 3rd Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Darbhanga in connection with G.O (Excise) Case No. 274 of 2017.
