The petitioner is in custody since 25.02.2017 in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No. 72 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The alleged recovery was made from a motorcycle which does not belong to the petitioner. The petitioner, who is said to be a student, is rotting in custody for the last two months.

Case No.72 of 2017.
