Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation is of demand of ransom on mobile call.
Submission of the petitioner is that the said mobile is not of the petitioner and his name has transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused, namely, Sachin Kumar, who has already been allowed bail by the learned court below. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20294 of 2017 (2) dt.01-05-2017 2/2 each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger/successor Court in connection with Kotwali Police Station Case No. 63 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
