The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No.42 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 20 litres of alleged liquor has been recovered from the house of the petitioner without anyone being present in the entire house, which is a joint property of all the family members. I have considered the submission.

Taking into consideration the nature and manner in which the F.I.R. has been alleged, I am inclined to grant benefit of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and in the event of arrest, he
