The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hasanganj P.S. Case No. 56 of 2016, registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of one bottle of 750 ML and one bottle of 180 ML India made foreign liquor to the shop of the petitioner and also 40 bottles, each containing 180 ML,6 bottle of one liter, 05 bottle of one liter and 9 bottle of 750 ML India made foreign liquor to the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, the shop attached with a room was hired by one Ramshish Chauhan and petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Katihar in connection with Hasanganj P.S.
