Petitioner seeks bail in Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.757 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that total 1647.250 litres foreign liquor and 60 litres country made liquor has been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in custody since 28.02.2018 having clean antecedents. Seizure list is part of the First Information Report, which does not bear signature either of the petitioner or his family members. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38489 of 2019(2) dt.27-06-2019 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge II, Sheikhpura, in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.757 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
