The petitioner is accused in connection with Sarmera P.S. Case No. 20 of 2017 registered under Sections 30(A)/32 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that in course of search of the house of the petitioner, 25 litres country-made liquor including apparatus of aluminum and other instruments, which are used for preparation of liquor, were recovered. At that time, the petitioner was apprehended by the Police in course of fleeing away from there, who disclosed the name of his father and brother who are involved in the said offence.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21020 of 2017 (2) dt.18-05-2017 2/2 Submission is that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent, is in custody in the present case since 10.03.2017. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Sarmera P.S. Case No. 20 of 2017, subject to the condition that out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
