The petitioner seeks bail in Pauthu P.S. Case No. 73 of 2016 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The police intercepted two motorcycles on which country made liquor was being carried. Two persons, namely, Birju Yadav and Mukesh Kumar were apprehended. The petitioner Pawan Yadav and one Mukhdeo Yadav are said to have fled away. 54 litres of country made liquor is said to have been recovered and for that the petitioner is in jail since 03.02.2017. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner has remained in jail for three months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21782 of 2017 (2) dt.11-05-2017 2/2 bond of Rs. 5,000/- (Five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Aurangabad in connection with Pauthu P.S. Case No. 73 of 2016.
