This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

This is a case under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The parties have settled their dispute vide report, dated 15.06.2017, submitted by the Mediator of the Patna High Court Mediation Committee.

In the circumstances, provisional bail granted to the petitioner on 13.01.2017 stands confirmred.

In the event of non-compliance of the terms of settlement by the petitioner, the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond.
