The petitioner seeks bail in G.R.P. Jhajha Rail P.S. Case No. 70 of 2017 (Excise Case No. 09 of 2017), registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(A) and 38(1) of the Bihar Prohibition of Excise Act, 2016.

The informant alleged that Indrajeet Kumar @ Nawab was apprehended and from his possession about seven liters, 600 grams and Rs. 5160/- were recovered. Indrajeet Kumar @ Nawab disclosed the name of the petitioner that he was carrying the bag. Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 27.03.2017 the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten
