2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 302, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Prosecution case, in brief, the co-accused persons were planting bushes and when the informant's side objected to the same, the co-accused persons assaulted the informant and his family members.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. as his name surfaced during course of the investigation. Petitioner is only alleged to be member of the mob. Specific accusation of assault is against co-accused

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43130 of 2026(2) dt.01-07-2026 2/2 Munnilal Kushwaha @ Munnilal Singh and Kamlesh Kushwaha who have already been granted regular bail by co-ordinate Benches of this Court vide orders dated 19.12.2025 and 15.01.2026 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62898 of 2025 and Cr. Misc. No. 1503 of 2026 respectively. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the backdrop of the case, nature of accusation and clean antecedent, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bailbond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.- VI, Gopalganj in connection with Kateya P. S. Case No. 238 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/SanjayU T
