JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 08-05-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. It has been submitted that the trial has begun and the informant has already been examined in the case. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage.

This bail petition is disposed of with direction to the court below to conclude the trial of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order by giving short adjournments.

The petitioner is granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself, in the event the trial is not concluded within six months, the court below will give reasons for not concluding the trial within the aforesaid period.
