2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 341, 386, 307, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 25.11.2022, this petitioner demanded Rs. Two lacs, as extortion money, from the informant and due to non-fulfillment of the same, this petitioner alongwith two unknown miscreants came at the field of informant and with intention to kill him, fired, but bullet did not hit him and passed away by the side of his ear. Thereafter, petitioner again fired, but the bullet missed the target and passed away by the side of informant's waist. In the meantime,

No.41300 of 2023(4) dt.18-09-2023 2/2 informant fell down on the ground, then petitioner put the pistol in his mouth and took away Rs. 3500/- from his pocket and fired upon the informant, due to which, he sustained injury in his mouth. Doctor has found grievous injury. Petitioner has also got one criminal antecedent.

4. Considering the nature of accusation and injury coupled with the fact that petitioner has got one criminal antecedent, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
