The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nathnagar (Lalmatia) P.S. Case No.119 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act as well as Section 27 of the Arms Act.

A supplementary affidavit has been filed on behalf of the petitioner annexing the copy of the compromise petition and submitting that Monika Kumari is now living in the petitioner's house as his wife happily, the marriage was inter-caste marriage, but due to some confusion the case has been lodged. Now, that confusion has been washed away and as such the petitioner deserves sympathetic consideration.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2537 of 2017 (2) dt.31-01-2017 In the facts and circumstances stated above, considering the compromise arrived at between the parties now, the petitioner, who is husband of daughter of the informant, is directed to be released on bail on execution of bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions JudgeVI, Bhagalpur in connection with S.T. No.510 of 2016 corresponding to Nathnagar (Lalmatia) P.S. Case No.119 of 2016, subject to the conditions that one of the bailors must be a near relative and another having sufficient immovable property within the territorial jurisdiction of the court concerned and the petitioner shall remain present on each and every date during trial and the default on two consecutive dates on his part without any reason shall disentitle the petitioner from privilege of bail.
