1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 70 of 2025 dated 15.02.2025 registered under Section 126(2), 115(2), 303(2), 118(1), 109, 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita 2023.

3. As per the F.I.R. on 14.02.2025 while the informant was returning home and reached near Sheikhpura More the petitioner along with other accused persons surrounded him and started abusing on the ground that he was not giving side to the vehicle of the accused persons and further they assaulted the informant with knife due to which he received injury on his head and cheek.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and the occurrence has taken

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40258 of 2025(2) dt.16-07-2025 2/2 place due to road rage. From the impugned order it appears that injury has been caused to the victim on his face which is not serious in nature. The petitioner is about 20 years of age and the parties have entered into compromise.

5. Regard being had to the submission made by the parties, taking into consideration the nature of allegation, the age of the petitioner and the fact that no serious injury has been caused to the informant, accordingly I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-1st, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 70 / 2025 subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the B.N.S.S. 2023. (Anil Kumar Sinha, J) praful/- U T
