The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Singhwara P.S. Case No. 99 of 1991, registered for the offences punishable under Section 380 and some other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no knowledge about the institution of the case, the case has been compromised and the informant has already died. Be that as it may, it appears that the petitioner has already been declared absconder since he was not appearing for last more than twenty years.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I do not find the case fit to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) KKSINHA/- U T
