2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, three unknown miscreants riding on a motorcycle snatched cash worth Rs. 6,000/- from informant. During course of investigation, the motorcycle which was used in commission of the offence was found to be registered in name of this petitioner.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case merely because he happens to be registered owner of the vehicle in question. No incriminating

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43549 of 2024(2) dt.25-07-2024 2/2 article has been recovered from conscious possession of this petitioner.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that the vehicle which was used for commission of the offence belongs to this petitioner. It is further submitted that petitioner has also got one criminal antecedent.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the fact that petitioner is registered owner of the motorcycle which was used for commission of the alleged offence and criminal antecedents, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
