The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bhgalpur Rail P.S. Case No. 147 of 2016, registered under Section 401 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that petitioner and one Rajesh Singh were apprehended on Ticket booking counter at Bhagalpur Railway Station on suspicion of pickpocketing the persons standing in the queue for railway ticket.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent is in custody since 26.10.2016. Further submission is that similarly situated co-
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20967 of 2017 (2) dt.17-05-2017 2/2 accused Rajesh Sing has already been granted privilege of bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 20.03.2017 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 10496 of 2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM, Railway, Bhgalpur in connection with Bhagalpur Rail Thana Case No. 147 of 2016.
