The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Raushanganj P.S. Case No. 13 of 2017 instituted for the offence punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-B)a, 26, 35 of Arms Act and Section 17 of C.L.A. Act. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 05.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 34670 of 2022 with an observation to learned trial court to conclude the trial within a period of six months without fail.

No.47109 of 2024(3) dt.08-08-2024 2/2 In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report, dated 29.07.2024, with regard to present stage of trial has been received and the same is kept at flag 'R'. From its perusal it appears that the case in pending for adducing the prosecution witness.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within six months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
