The petitioner seeks bail in Patliputra P.S. Case No. 114/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 290 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A) of the Excise Act. It is alleged that from the possession of the petitioner, Amit Kumar, 360 bottles, each containing 200ml, country made liquor were recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 72 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner for that the petitioner is in jail since 25.03.2016. The petitioner has already remained in jail for nine months. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of
