1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Bibhutipur Police Station Case No. 331 of 2024, dated 02.10.2024, disclosing offences under Sections 80 and 85 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. The prosecution case, as per the First Information Report lodged by the informant, is that her daughter, namely, Mansha Kumari, was married to Bhakendra Kumar in the year 2023. Soon after marriage, the in-laws started harassing the informant's daughter for dowry. On 15.05.2024, husband of informant's daughter came in intoxicated condition and assaulted her and demanded Rs.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40653 of 2025(2) dt.16-07-2025 2/3 2,00,000/- and a motorcycle. On 17.04.2024, the informant's daughter lodged complaint against her husband and other family members and thereafter she went to her parental home. Husband and father-in-law of the informant's daughter came to parental house of Mansha Kumari and took her with them. It has further been alleged that on 25.09.2024 the informant received information that her daughter was assaulted by her inlaws. When informant, along with others, went to the matrimonial house of her daughter, on next day, they saw house to be locked and upon entering they found the informant's daughter, Mansha Kumari, body was hanging by neck.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no. 1 is unmarried sister-in-law and the petitioner no. 2 is the married sister-in-law of the deceased. He next submits that petitioners are innocent and have not committed any offence or demanded dowry and the allegations leveled against the petitioners are general and omnibus in nature based upon false and concocted story. He further submits that petitioner no. 1 is a student of graduation living in Samastipur and petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40653 of 2025(2) dt.16-07-2025 3/3 no. 2 is a teacher in private school at New Delhi. The husband, namely, Dharmendra Kumar, of the deceased is in custody since 12.01.2025.

Having regard to the submission advanced by learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that petitioner nos. 1 and 2 are sisters-in-law of the deceased and allegation against them are general and omnibus in nature and not specific, I am inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
6. The bail application is, accordingly, allowed.
7. Let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within four weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II, Rosera, Samastipur, in connection with Bibhutipur Police Station Case No. 331 of 2024, subject to the condition laid down under Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
