2. The prayer of the petitioner is for a direction to the CBSE to allow correction in the secondary and senior secondary educational certificates of the petitioner by adding surname after his name i.e., 'YASH' to 'YASH CHOUDHARY' (adding CHOUDHARY as surname).

3. Learned counsel for the CBSE submits that in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court rendered in the case of Jigya Yadav v. CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education) in Civil Appeal No. 3905/2011, the petitioner may be directed to approach the regional office of the CBSE, Patna with proper application which shall be considered by the competent authority of the CBSE at Patna.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the present writ application stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file necessary application before the Regional Officer of the CBSE for correction in the certificates by adding surname.

5. It is made clear that if the request is made by the petitioner, the CBSE shall consider the same expeditiously in accordance with law.
