The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the prosecution case, 216 litres of liquor was recovered from the vehicle in question and the accused persons including the petitioner herein were taken into custody. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He has no concern either with the seized liquor nor with the vehicle in question. He is in custody since 18.5.2021 and has no criminal antecedent.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

No.49836 of 2021(2) dt.23-02-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case no. 95 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl.
