2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 342, 353, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, these petitioners are alleged to have assaulted police personnel as a result of which some police personnel sustained injuries.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. There are general and omnibus

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42750 of 2024(3) dt.27-08-2024 2/2 allegation and there is no specific accusation of overt act against these petitioners. Petitioners claim clean antecedents.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners and submitted that petitioners are named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that they assaulted police personnel, as a result of which several police personnel sustained injuries.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and nature of accusation, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners is rejected.
