2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 550 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-b) (a), 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of one country made pistol and six live cartridges from the petitioner.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 6.11.2024 and there are 11 more cases of similar and serious nature registered against him.

5. Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The trial of the petitioner is directed to be expedited.
