The petitioner seeks bail in Jokihat P.S. Case No. 248/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 354B, 379 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. Md. Shakur the informant named the petitioner along with other accused persons and alleged that they having armed with different weapons came to his house, abused the informant and also assaulted the informant and others.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is of course, named in the F.I.R., but no specific allegation of assault is made against the petitioner. Similarly, situated coaccused persons have already been enlarged on bail. The case of the petitioner stands on better footing. Petitioner is in jail since

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Jokihat P.S. Case No. 248/2016.
