This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 399, 400, 402, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1-b), A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

A pistol and seven cartridges were allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner. the petitioner is in custody since 20.12.2016 and has got no such criminal antecedent. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that investigation is complete now. The petitioner is ready to cooperate with the trial. There is no allegation of tampering with the evidence.

Considering the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail, after nine months of custody, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 594 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga, or successor Court with the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the bail bond of the petitioner shall be cancelled by the Court below itself.
