The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Sarsi P.S. Case No.16 of 2025 registered for the offence under sections 80, 238 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023. 3.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He is said to have killed his wife for demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that the petitioner has never tortured the deceased for demand of dowry. 5.

Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and also considering the nature of allegation levelled against him, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
