The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case in connection with Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 76 of 2014, under Sections 302, 201/34 of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Pankaj Kumar, the Inspector of Police, lodged a case against unknown after recovery of a dead body kept in gunny bag. During the course of investigation, it transpires that the dead body was of a Tantrik who had come in the house of the petitioner. Veena Devi the mother of the petitioner disclosed that Guria Kumari was ill but the Tantrik made an attempt to outrage her modesty It appears that there is circumstantial evidence about the

It is submitted that only there is a confessional statement and no other material has been collected.

Considering the facts that Guria Devi has also filed Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 77 of 2014 against the Tantrik. There are strong circumstantial evidence against the petitioner as the deceased had gone to the house of the petitioner. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected in connection with Jamalpur P.S.
