The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act.

Allegedly, the petitioner was one of the persons boarding the vehicle from which about 15.3 litres of foreign and country made liquor were seized.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has remained in custody since 14.08.2016 and he claims to be of clean antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, namely, Md. Hatim, is directed to be released

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43152 of 2016 (2) dt.06-10-2016 on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate IInd, Purnea, in connection with Routa Police Station Case No. 43 of 2016.
