The petitioner seeks bail in Chenari P.S. Case No. 135 of 2013, corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 262 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376(D), 366A, 307 and some other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 21.05.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 10075 of 2015. The petitioner again moved to this Court for grant of bail. A report was called for and from the report it appears that the prosecution evidence has already been closed on 10.07.2017.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the trial is at the fag end, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
